The Farm

Walkers Farm is approx 100 acres on the Somerset Levels. initially it was a Dairy farm but approx 15 years ago the cows were sold and the farm was rented out to local farmers. The land is used mainly for maize and some fields of willow which is used for making wicker baskets.

The farm is on the edge of the west sedgemoor RSPB reserve, so we have ample opportunity to see some Herons, Cranes and many other birds and wildlife.

The farm is there for you to use, we have lovely walks around the farm and surrounding area including  pleasant walks to Burrow Mump and Stoke St Gregory.

 We have chickens and horses on our farm, you are more than welcome to feed the horses and help collect the eggs and feed the chickens.
