Hackney Stables (Sleeps 2/3)

The hackney stable was built in 1884 approx. and used for stabling horses and hackney carriages via the central arches. It has been redesigned for high comfort living accommodation with large brick arched windows giving beautiful views across Sedgemoor. It is all situated at ground floor level to facilitate wheelchair access.

It has a light airy relaxing atmosphere and comes equipped with comfortable sofas and chairs and a fully fitted kitchen and dining area with electric cooker, microwave oven, iron, TV, fridge and washing machine. Besides easy wheelchair access, other disability features include: electrical plugs at waist level, easy taps, no steps or ramps and all rooms at ground floor level.

All bedding, sheets and towels are provided.

There are also a communal playroom, tumble dryer and dog kennel available (dogs by arrangement).
