We have just welcomed our newest member of our team, Echo is a 27 year old pony who has joined us as a pony for the grandchildren. Here are some pictures of her.

River Parret Trail
November 5, 2011
We are now guardians of a section of the River Parrett Trail, we are walking our
section 4 times a year to make sure there are no problems, we are lucky as at the
end of the walk there is a lovely pub called the King Alfred at Burrowbridge.
Nature Box
October 20, 2011
We have put together a nature box for our guests; it has a pair of binoculars to use around the farm and surrounding countryside and a Book to record any significant sightings, so far a guest has seen 32 Great Cranes and a stoat, also we have heard a barn owl outside the cottages at night.
Farm Stay Meeting

Penny Elphick a local artist has been taking a 3 day painting course at Walkers Farm.
The Students have been spreading out over the farm to paint the views.

- Carnivals: from September to October there are wonderful carnivals to watch most weekends.
Farmers Market days:
- Ilminster outdoor market: market square, Thursdays 9am – 1pm
- Langport: Ridgway hall, Stacey court Fridays 8.30am – 11.30am
- Somerton: Unicorn skittle alley, West street, Saturdays 9.30am – 11.30am
- North Curry village hall every 1st sat of month 9.30 – 12noon
